A Visit to Stock Vintage, New York City.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting one of New York's premier boutiques, Stock Vintage. As their name may suggest, the store specialises in all manner of vintage wares, renowned for housing an eclectic, though thoroughly deliberate range of goods. Whether you're after a delightfully weathered pair of boots, a classic denim jacket, or collegiate attire from years gone by, this is certainly the place to find it. Unlike the often slapdash approach of its contemporaries, the store boasts a beautifully manicured interior with superb merchandising throughout. Once inside, you can truly appreciate what an achievement it is to have such a broad range of goods co-exist so peacefully, all sourced and expertly positioned by owner Melissa Howard. Patrons can all too often find themselves taken aback by the sheer breadth and quality of stock, ourselves included. As you meander through the space you can't help but be enveloped by a great sense of awe, the most natural of responses to this wonderful bounty of true Americana. For those looking for garments with a little more character and one-off appeal, we recommend checking out the store when you next find yourself in New York - you won't regret it.
