[vimeo 44111367 w=645 h=362] This wonderful short, filmed by Antony Crook and styled by Dan Doyle, was inspired by the rich history of Baracuta who this year celebrate their 75th Anniversary. Founded in 1937 by brothers John & Isaac Miller, Baracuta are among a handful of quintessentially British brands to have enjoyed nigh constant appeal over the years. Their most noteworthy success is of course the G9 Harrington; the original, tartan-lined jacket that has long been a pillar of classic British style. Though a Brit original, the G9's fame can be heavily linked to the early days of Hollywood, with stars such as Steve McQueen and James Dean championing their goods, not to mention the likes of Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and others frequently seen in Baracuta. Today the classic G9 is still made to exact specifications of original, embraced by gents of all ages and walks of life. Never the one-trick pony, Baracuta also produce a range of other garments, such as polo shirts, button-downs and trousers, all of which the tastefully compliment the aesthetic notes defined by their crown-jewel G9.
